What you will need.
1. Raspberry Pi
2. Micro HDMI adapter
3. USB sound card
4. 5V regulator cable
5. USB-C cable
Installing the Device
1. Turn off all electronics related to the VBS: screen, media PC, VBS board.
Remove the old media server (UPboard etc) in its entirety from the VBS and put in the new Raspberry Pi.
2. Add the HDMI adapter to the HDMI cable already in the VBS system.
3. Connect the regulator cable to the 12V OUT plug on the VBS board.
4. Insert the USB sound card into one of the back USB ports on the Raspberry Pi. Add the audio jack into the USB sound card port with the headset on it.
5. Add the USB cable to the diagonally opposite USB port.
6. Add the micro HDMI plug into the micro HDMI port closest to the USB-C port. This is important as it will not work if it is in the second port.
7. Add the ethernet cable into the ethernet port.
8. Plug the regulator cables USB-C into the raspberry pi’s USB-C port.
9. Ensure the Pi is placed up against the wall with the top facing away from the wall and HDMI cable up vertically. Close up the VBS system and confirm the VBS works by starting a game.
Note: Ensure that the mode has been set to VLC as the media client under setting 402 in the game manager when logged in as Delta Strike.
