Genesis – How to replace: Vest Battery – MD2010

Ensure the phaser is turned off before replacing any parts. Do this by putting the key into the slot on the back sensor.

Remove the 7 screws on the backplate on the back sensor. Ensure that the driver is set to 9, and the switch is in the reverse position.

Pull out the cable connecting the induction plate to the back sensor PCB.

To remove the battery pull out the cable connecting the battery to the back sensor PCB.

Slide the old battery out, then slide in the new battery. Insert the cable from the battery into the plug labeled BATTERY.

Insert the induction coil cable into the plug on the PCB, then screw on the back plate using the hex driver.
