Genesis – How to change/update phaser names

As this does not cause issues for functionality, it is good to know how to change phaser names if you you have a duplicate or you just want to make it something else. This can be done in two ways.

Note: The phasers must be connected to the server in order to edit them.

First method:

Login to the game manager as manager. Select Control Panel> hardware setup>select the phasers you want to change and edit the names field. Hit save and done.

Second method:

If you want to use our default phaser name list with its custom avatar.
Open the game server and select Tools. Select Genesis Identities. Select the name on the left that is not being used and then select the duplicate/phaser name. Select Apply Selections and wait for the name to update.
