This guide will walk you through what to do if one or both of the Phaser Speakers has stopped playing sound.
1. Check the speaker cable
Open the Phaser case and check the cable between the Speaker Module and the Phaser Mainboard Circuit is firmly plugged in and undamaged.
2. Unplug the Speaker and test with a Speaker from a working Phaser
If this solves the problem, replace the broken Speaker with a new one.
3. Check the ‘Volume (VOL)’ setting in the Bootloader
Max VOL is 3, 0 is off. If VOL is set to ‘1’, increase the volume slightly and check for sound. Refer to Changing the Phaser settings with Bootloader if you are unsure how to do this step.
4. If problem still persists, replace the Phaser Mainboard Circuit
Make sure you re-assign the phaser its designated name and node number after replacing the mainboard. Phaser will need firmware and commands.
