Procedure:
1. Holding the trigger for 5- 10 seconds when starting up the Phaser with the key switch, until the bootloader appears on screen.

Be careful not to press the front buttons and change any settings accidently.
3. Pull the trigger to cycle through the different settings.
4. Use the “1” and “2” buttons at the front of the Phaser to change the settings.
5. After you have changed a setting pull the trigger to save.

Bootloader settings
1 NODE
• All Delta Strike Phasers need to be set with a unique NODE number to allow the DeltaWare™ Game Suite to detect them.
• A Phasers NODE by default is the same as the last three digits of it’s IP address and range from 1 to 200.
2 COL
• This setting is reserved and by default set to ‘7’.
3 MODE
• When using a standard Delta Strike system with a Server and Wireless Access Point this should be set to ‘RF WIFI SERVER’. Or just ‘Server’ If your system has been installed or updated after March 2012.
• If using a Remote and Phasers only system with no Server, It should be set to ‘REMOTE CONTROL’. Or ‘None’ If your system has been installed or updated after March 2012.
Please consult Delta Strike on the use of this mode.
4 NAME
• This setting allows you to change the name of a Phaser, which is displayed on the Phasers screen, DeltaWare™ Game Suite and on printed score sheets.
Phaser names can also be changed much faster using the DeltaWare™ Server. (Refer to “Changing the Phaser names” on page 22.)
• All new Phasers will have the default Name ‘DELTA’
5 CONFIG (CFG)
• This setting is reserved and by default set to ‘0’
6 SENSORS (SENS)
• The number of Sensors attached to the Phaser.
• A standard Phaser vest has four sensors and is set to ‘4’ by default.
7 VOLUME (VOL)
• This setting controls the Volume of the speakers in the Phaser.
• Increasing/decreasing the number will raise/lower the volume by default this is set to ‘3’
Increasing this value will rase the volume but increase the amount of battery the Phaser uses.
8 IR POWER (IR)
• Determines a Phasers range using the InfraRed beam.
• By default this is set to ‘20’
Increasing this value will increase the Phasers range but also increase the chance of IR “Bounce” off walls, and decreases battery life.
