Genesis – Phaser/Vest Stuck in Charge Mode

If you notice your phaser is saying its charging, but it is not plugged into a charger or the back sensor is not showing lit up, follow these steps.

  1. Remove the vest from the charge rack and take to your repair room.
  2. Using your torque drill, remove the back plate cover.
  3. Unplug the battery cable and plug the battery cable back in.
    • If the battery is difficult to remove use a flat head to gently push the connector out.

This will power cycle the vest and will operate normally again. If the vest does not return to a normal state, replace the back sensor or troubleshoot as needed.
